PLASMA DISPLAY PANEL AND METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING THE SAME

A plasma display panel and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to secure uniformity and reliability of material by reducing density difference inside a barrier rib material. A sustain electrode pair composed of a pair of transparent electrodes(180a,180b) and a pair of bus electrodes(180a',180b') is formed on a front substrate(170). A dielectric(190) and a protecting film(195) are successively formed on the front substrate. A black matrix is formed on the sustain electrode pair. A protecting film made of MgO is formed on the dielectric. An address electrode(120) is formed on one surface of a rear substrate(110). A white dielectric layer(130) is formed on the rear substrate.
