A stopper for the slide is provided, in which the noise is not generated and which has the shock-absorbing function and does not affect the durability of the retainer. A stopper for the slide comprises: a cylindrical wall(51) having a hollow(52) which is located at the end part of the slide fixing rail and prevents the retainer from being separated from the fixed rail; a rib(57) which is formed in the inner side of the cylindrical wall in order to be extended in the projection form of the fixed length; a bottom part(53) formed in one side of the hollow of cylindrical wall; and a space part(59) formed between ribs.
