PREPARATION METHOD OF KOREAN HOT PEPPER PASTE USING EXTRACT OF HOUTTUYNIA CORDATA THUNB AND SAURURUS CHINENSIS BAILL, AND KOREAN HOT PEPPER PASTE PRODUCED THEREOF

Red pepper paste using extracts of Houttuynia cordata and Saururus chinensis and a preparation method thereof are provided to remove specific smells from Houttuynia cordata and Saururus chinensis while showing various bioactive substances thereof. A method for preparing red pepper paste using extracts of Houttuynia cordata and Saururus chinensis comprises the following steps of: preparing Houttuynia cordata extract and Saururus chinensis extract; pulverizing red pepper; mixing extracts and red pepper powder besides common ingredients for red pepper paste; and fermenting the mixture. The contents of the Houttuynia cordata extract and the Saururus chinensis extract are 10-20%(w/w) respectively. The Houttuynia cordata extract and the Saururus chinensis extract are prepared through fermenting extraction or hot water extraction and ethanol extraction in sequential order. The common ingredients represent glutinous rice, wheat flour, cayenne pepper, brown sugar, starch syrup and water.
