A wafer scale lens assembly, a substrate and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to form a protrusion part, a depression part, and a groove with a minute pattern by injecting photopolymers between molds. A wafer scale lens assembly in which a plurality of lens units are combined, includes a curved part(57,58) in which a lens unit is formed and a peripheral unit(55) extended from the curved part. The lens unit is formed with photosensitive resin. A groove(54) or a protrusion is combined with the lens unit. The photosensitive resin is formed with a photopolymer. A side wall of the groove becomes gradually narrower towards a floor side of the groove.
