MICRO-ELECTRO-DISCHARGE MACHINING METHODS AND APPARATUS

A micro-electric-discharge machining method may be applied to fabricating structures from hard materials. One or more electrodes may be fabricated over a surface of a workpiece. The electrodes may be supported by resiliently-deformable members in such a manner that the electrodes can be advanced toward the workpiece by applyin g a potential difference between the electrode and workpiece until a discharge occurs.
