A method for making double welt pocket with set-in ends includes drawing a place of the pocket location, working the off-set welt, sewing a zipper tape to the lower cut of the off-set welt, sewing the upper lining to the off-set welt, sewing a valance to the middle lining, sewing the valance to the lower lining, sewing the off-set welt with upper lining and the valance to the lower lining to a forepart, cutting the pocket opening, turning-over the off-set welt outside, sewing the middle lining with valance, fastening the off-set welt end, sewing the lining, ironing the finished pocket. Moreover the zipper tape is stitched on the ironed pocket pipings, the middle lining is sewn to the lower piping, the cut of lower piping is stitched on the middle lining of pocket, the welt is worked, the off-set welt with pipings and upper lining are stitched on the forepart, and the upper piping is stitched on the lower lining of pocket. |
