The invention proposes a DC machine which is provided with a sensor system for measurement of current and voltage, excitation current, armature rotation speed, temperature of cooling air at air inlet/outlet out of the machine. For control of machine operation a valuator is used, which includes a mathematical model of DC machine temperature automatic control system. The automatic control system takes into account DC machine operation modes and provides by calculation to determine temperature change of a controlled winding when machine load is changed using value of current and voltage, excitation current, armature speed of machine which is cooled, and temperature of air that cools the machine. |
