METHOD FOR DETERMINATION OF ZONES OF SMALL AMPLITUDE DISTORTION OF COAL SEAMS

The invention relates to mining, in particular to methods for evaluation of mining-geological conditions of bedding of coal seams in interior of the stage at stage of mine survey works. Subject of the invention is in increase of reliability of prediction of places of development of small amplitude distortion (SD) by data of variability of coal bearing deposits between wells. The method includes determination of discrepancy in power of sandstones with calculation of average power of those by two neighboring wells. In the method proposed one calculates coefficient that is equal to ratio of those characteristics for group of stratigraphic intervals with general power not less than 70-, results obtained are brought to map of placement of wells and areas with indication of coefficient larger than 1.0 are considered as zones of placement of distortions with amplitude 0.6-. Application of the method makes is possible to improve reliability of determination of zones of development of SD and undisturbed bedding of coal seams as well.
