A method for making welt pocket with set-in ends and double opening includes drawing a place of the pocket location, working the welt, sewing a zipper tape to the lower cut of the welt, sewing the upper lining to the welt, sewing a valance to the middle lining, sewing the valance to the lower lining, sewing the welt with upper lining and the valance to the lower lining to a forepart, cutting the pocket opening, turning-over the welt outside, sewing the middle lining with valance, fastening the welt end, sewing the lining, ironing the finished pocket. Moreover pipings are stitched to the zipper tape, the lower cut of the piping is canted by the middle lining of the pocket, the upper piping and welt are sewn to the forepart, after turning-over the welt and pipings outside the upper lining of pocket is sewn to the welt, and the upper piping is stitched on the lower lining of pocket. |
