FIELD: information technologies. ^ SUBSTANCE: according to the invention there is proposed system and method of operating telephony. Note that telephone network can be physical or virtual network operated by the existent network. To this effect network users are provided with network identification facilities in form of SIM-cards or telephones with imbedded SIM-cards. SIM-cards are network identification facilities with unique network numbers. Network which is preferably intelligent network (IN) is configured in such a way that users' telephones could receive calls or/and messages irrespective of user's balance in the network. Additionally, network is configured in such a way that users with no credit or airtime could make an outgoing call to designated addressee with a call disconnected after preset number of calls. It is enough for the designated addressee's telephone to receive notification about missed call. Network is configured for notifying in form of text message or recorded information for designated addressee call in case addressee is unavailable at the moment of calling. ^ EFFECT: lifting restrictions of some population groups' access to the telephony services. ^ 17 cl, 1 dwg |
