METHOD FOR RECONSTRUCTIVE SURGERY OF CRUCIATE LIGAMENT OF KNEE-JOINT

A method for the reconstructive surgery of the cruciate ligament of the knee-joint provides for the use of the autograft. The tunnels are generated in the femur and the tibia. The ends of the autograft are fixed in the generated tunnels with the aid of the metallic screws. As the autograft, the tendons of the rectus muscle of thigh as well as internal and external muscles of thigh are used taking into account the anatomical structure of the cruciate ligament. The autograft is split into two bundles along two thirds of its length. The bundles are fixed in the bone canals in the position, which is more appropriate for the stabilization.
