FIELD: medicine. ^ SUBSTANCE: invention concerns surgery and can be applicable for definition of degree of an atrophy of tissues of the prosthetic doge under basis of a removable prosthesis. The cast is obtained out by means of a removable prosthesis of the patient in position of the central occlusion under the control of the set force of compression of jaws with use of the registering device with strain gauges, having strain gauges between the sixth teeth. Value of force of compression of jaws is defined on the registering device. The thickness of cast a material is measured under a microscope on cast sections. ^ EFFECT: way allows enlarging accuracy of measurements.
