<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing an optical substrate and the optical substrate for connecting a light waveguide path with an optical fiber optically and simply with high precision and being suitable for mass production. <P>SOLUTION: In the method for manufacturing the optical substrate, a first dummy film is arranged adjacent to a substrate for module, a second dummy film is arranged adjacent to the first dummy film, a light emitting element or a light receiving element is arranged across the substrate for module and the first dummy film by letting a light emitting face or a light receiving face oppose to the first dummy film, the substrate for module, the first dummy film, the second dummy film, and the light emitting element or the light receiving element are sealed and fixed by resin for molding, the first dummy film and the second dummy film are peeled off, the light waveguide path is mounted in a part where the first dummy film is peeled off, and the optical fiber is mounted in a part where the second dummy film is peeled off. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
