<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique for controlling communication data appropriately. <P>SOLUTION: A testing apparatus 900 tests a communication control unit 10 for performing prescribed processing concerning input communication data for output. The testing apparatus 900 has: an output section 904 to output data to the communication control unit 10; a holding section 950 for correlating data output to the communication control unit 10 to those to be output from the communication control unit 10 for holding; an input section 906 to input data output from the communication control unit 10; an inspection section 908 for inspecting whether the communication control unit 10 operates normally; and an updating section 952 for updating data held by the holding section 950 following the update of a database.
