PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a labeling machine that has a printer having a drop on-demand inkjet head, the labeling machine being able to prevent ink in a print head from drying when the print head is not used, and able to continue printing speedily and reliably when used after left without being used, thus being economical. SOLUTION: A cover 4 is selectively moved to a position in front of the discharge opening of a nozzle so that ink 26a discharged from the nozzle 24 is recirculated to an ink circuit 25.
