PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid jetting apparatus which can obtain a good jetting characteristic by enabling simple and sure meniscus control. SOLUTION: The liquid jetting apparatus 1 is equipped with a liquid storage part 48 which stores a liquid, a liquid jetting head 4 having a plurality of jet openings 16 which jet the liquid supplied from the liquid storage part 48, a meniscus adjusting means 8 which makes positions of the liquid meniscus at the time of liquid jetting and at the time of non liquid jetting of the liquid jetting head 4 different from each other by pressing out or drawing in the liquid in the jet openings 16, and a controller 58 which controls the meniscus adjusting means 8 to form the state that a first position of the liquid meniscus at the time of non liquid jetting is more drawn into the jet opening 16 than a second position of the liquid meniscus at the time of liquid jetting.
