PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve convenience for a player more than before without causing the increase of equipment costs and human costs or the like in a game system used in a game hall sectioned into a plurality of areas of different game medium lending rates. SOLUTION: In the game system for which a game machine, a game medium lending machine and a game medium counter are installed in the respective areas of the different game medium lending rates, the game medium lending machine 10 specifies the reference number of game media to be supplied for game medium lending to a player, recognizes the game medium lending rate in the present area, and determines the lending number of the game media to the player on the basis of the specified result and the recognized result. Also, the game medium counter 20 recognizes the game medium lending rate in the present area, converts the counted result of the recovered game media to the reference number of the game media on the basis of the recognized result, stores the reference number of the game media as the converted result in a prescribed storage medium, and returns it to the player.
