<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an enclosing method for a compact battery, which is sufficient as a barrier effect and adopts an enforced technique widely learnt in the world and dispenses with an additional stage for piling a material specific to sealing. <P>SOLUTION: A lithium electrochemical device comprises: a stack suitable for forming a compact battery 1 enclosed by using a protection cap piled on a substrate 3 and sealed on the substrate 3; two current collectors 4, 5 for current generated from the compact battery; and at least an insulating layer 6 being inactive about lithium. The corrector and the insulating layer are piled up on the substrate. The protection cap is sealed on the substrate 3 by using a layer forming the current collectors 4, 5 and the insulating layer 6, and the cap stores a layer with the same nature arranged in the same order by coinciding with the related layers piled on the substrate. When the cap is sealed on the substrate, respective layers piled on the cap and the substrate keep in contact with each other, and actual sealing of the cap on the substrate is provided. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
