<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce a storage amount of font image data to be used for print inspection. <P>SOLUTION: A data processor 2 of a print inspection system inputs print data of printed matter to be inspected from a data input device 1, extracts print position data, character code data, and character print condition data from the input print data, stores the print position data, the character code data, and the character print condition data extracted from the print data into a storage device 3, generates font image data, in a single character unit, corresponding to the character code data and the character print condition data extracted from the print data, and stores the generated font image data in a single character unit into the storage device 3 so that they do not overlap the identical font image data. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
