<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compact wireless IC device and an electronic device in which no dedicated antenna is provided and an impedance is easily matched. <P>SOLUTION: The wireless IC device includes: a wireless IC chip 5 for processing transmission and reception signals; a printed-wiring circuit board 20 on which the wireless IC chip 5 is mounted; an electrode 21 formed on the circuit board 20; and a loop electrode 22 which is electrically connected to the wireless IC chip 5 and which is formed on the circuit board 20 so that the loop electrode is electromagnetically connected to the electrode 21. The electrode 21 is connected to the wireless IC chip 5 via the loop electrode 22, without including an antenna pattern, and sends and receives a high frequency signal. A power supply circuit board comprising a resonant circuit and/or a matching circuit may be interposed between the wireless IC chip 5 and the loop electrode 22. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT</p> |
