<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming method by which favorable images can be obtained without inducing an anchoring phenomenon even when a developing roller has a diameter R (mm) in a range represented as 10≥R≥5 and a linear speed of ≥100 mm/sec. <P>SOLUTION: The image forming method includes at least the developing roller supplying toner to an electrostatic latent image formed on a latent image bearer to develop the image, and a thin-layer forming member to be in contact with the circumference surface of the developing roller and forming a thin layer of the toner on the developing roller. The toner is a pulverized toner, including at least a binder resin, a wax, and inorganic fine particles. A peripheral speed v (mm/sec) of the developing roller, a diameter R (mm) of the developing roller and an exposure amount A (mg/g) of the wax on the surface of the toner particulate material satisfy following expressions (1): 300≥v≥100, (2): 10≥R≥5, and (3): (R<SP>2</SP>/12)≥A≥(150/v). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
