PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To attain extraordinarily high toque of a brushless motor with simple constitution, without causing enlargement and complexity. SOLUTION: The brushless motor includes a rotor 1, a stator 2, recessed grooves 33 and protruded streaks 32, magnetic materials 4, and an annular magnetic connecting member 5. The rotor has a magnetized face 121 with N and S poles alternately magnetized in a direction of rotation. The stator has a plurality of salient poles 3 with coils 31 wound, wherein end faces of each of the salient poles 3 are placed oppositely to the magnetized face 121 in a radial direction. The recessed grooves and the protruded streaks are formed at the end faces of the salient poles 3 so that they are alternately lined up in the direction of rotation and extended in an axial direction, and the width of the direction of rotation is approximately equal to that of the direction of rotation of the N pole or the S pole. The magnetic materials are interposed into gaps 6 formed between the recessed grooves 33 and the magnetized face 121 in such a manner that they do not come into contact with the recessed grooves 33 and the magnetized face 121.
