PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a discharge lamp lighting fixture which has a reduced number of transformers, a small size, a saved space and a low price. SOLUTION: In the discharge lamp lighting fixture in which secondary coil of two inverter transformers 23, 24 are connected with electrodes of two cold-cathode fluorescent tubes 21, 22, respectively, to light up the lamp, the secondary coil of the two transformers and the two cold-cathode fluorescent tubes are floating-connected, and the two inverter transformers are of a leakage inductance type, and each of the leakage inductance LB has a function of controlling a tube current as a ballast inductance of the cold-cathode fluorescent tube.
