PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a flat panel display device which prevents a backlight unit sheet from being peeled on a side wall part of a rear frame. SOLUTION: When the rear frame 7 is constituted with a conductive body such as metal, a backlight unit sheet 9A being an insulating sheet is attached from an outer surface of the bottom part 71 of the rear frame 7 over an outer surface of the side wall part 72. A pressure-sensitive adhesive 8 is applied onto the surface facing the rear frame 7 and, by virtue of the pressure-sensitive adhesive effect, the backlight unit sheet 9A is attached to the rear frame 7. The backlight unit sheet 9A is provided with cutting parts CP1 and CP2 on positions corresponding to the parts being folding starting points of two places on bent parts 73 of the rear frame 7 such that the backlight unit sheet 9A is tightly attached substantially along the curvature of the bent part 73.
