PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the following problems in a thin video display apparatus: a reflected image formed by outside light is triply projected; and the surface temperature tends to increase. SOLUTION: A space surrounded by a heat sink is formed between a front filter and a plasma display panel. By enclosing, in the space, a filler whose refractive index is very close to the refractive index in a glass of 1.43 and which promotes heat conduction, the reflected image formed by outside light is reduced to 1/3 and heat dissipation efficiency is improved.
