PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To give a user information of an area having a prescribed region, in response to getting close to or going into the area, when carrying out a route guidance. SOLUTION: A method is provided, which includes steps of: (a) (S210) of deciding a route connecting a departure place to a destination; (b) (S224, S226) of determining a specific area being near the route and including a point where a prescribed common services can be enjoyed, by referring to an area database which stores information of the services and positional information of the specific area, such that they correspond to each other; and (c) (S236) of creating route data including a first kind of information which is used for a movement guidance to move the user along the route, and a second kind of information which is used for an introduction of a near area about the services at a point on the route being in or close to the near area.
