PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dispersant for obtaining a pigment composition excellent in dispersability, flowability and storage stability even in a low using amount, and the pigment composition and a pigment dispersion suitable for offset ink, rotogravure ink, resist ink and inkjet ink for a color filter, a paint, a colored resin composition and the like, and having the dispersability and the stability excellent in a nonaggregation property and flowability. SOLUTION: This graft type dispersant is prepared by making 0.4-1.0 mol. of carboxyl group in a vinyl polymer d having one free carboxyl group in one terminal area addition-react with 1 mol. as total of primary amino groups in vinyl polymer c having the primary amino groups and tertiary amino groups.
