PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a dispersion which contains a flame-resistant polymer, has improved process stability, when shaped, and has excellent production stability. SOLUTION: This method for producing the dispersion containing the flame-resistant polymer is characterized by thermally treating a dispersion containing an acrylonitrile-based polymer in the presence of a nucleophilic agent and an amino carboxylic acid.
