PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cosmetic composition which contains a biosurfactant having a moisture-retaining action, a collagen production-promoting action, a cell-activating action, an anti-aging action, a hair-growing action and a chapped skin-improving action, in other words, to provide a moisture-retaining agent, a collagen production-promoting agent, a cell activating agent, an anti-aging agent, a hair-growing agent and a chapped skin-improving agent which each contains the cosmetic composition containing the biosurfactant, to provide a cosmetic composition, a quasi drug composition, a medical supply composition, a sanitary good composition, and a medicine composition which each contains the cosmetic composition, and to provide a cosmetic, a quasi drug, a medical supply, a sanitary good and a medicine which each contains the composition. SOLUTION: This cosmetic composition contains at least a biosurfactant and a moisture-retaining agent.
