PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a paper feeding tray capable of automatically changing regulation in the width direction of paper to be strong when the volume of the paper is large and weak when the amount of the paper is small according to a remaining amount without providing a special control means, stably aligning the paper at a standard position at all times, and facilitating the refilling of the paper. SOLUTION: The paper feeding tray is provided with a paper placing stand capable of elevating in regard to a base stand frame, a paper feeding member feeding the paper stacked on the paper placing stand from the uppermost portion in the paper feeding direction, and a regulating member regulating a position in the width direction of the paper, and detachably installed to a frame body. The regulating member has a fixed standard plate set on the base stand frame, and a regulating plate pressing the end of the paper oppositely to the fixed standard plate and capable of moving on the base stand frame. Elastic members energizing a lower side and an upper side of the regulating plate toward the fixed standard plate are provided between the regulating plate and the frame body.
