The invention relates to a tool for size-reducing coke in containers, comprising a housing which, in the operating state, is fastened to a drill rod and in which at least one cutting tip for cutting and one drilling tip for drilling coke by means of a water jet are arranged, and a switching device for controlling the supply of the water flowing under pressure through the drill rod and the housing are arranged, the switching device for switching the tool comprising a linearly displaceable switching element, a drive device and a control device which is rotatable about the longitudinal axis of the housing depending on changes of the water pressure to switch a valve device for distributing the water and for guiding the same, the flow path of the water towards the drill tip or the flow path towards the cutting tip being released or blocked depending on the angular position of the control device. The switching device is arranged inside the housing of the tool upstream of the region in which the supply flow path of the water in the housing is divided into flow channels for the water to be supplied to the drilling tip and the cutting tip, the switching device comprising a switching element for rotating the control device by the desired angle. Said switching element is arranged in the water flow path and can be displaced at a right angle to the longitudinal axis of the housing and is coupled with means for converting the linear movement of the switching element to a rotational movement of the control device. |
