A disposable pants-type wearing article in which mixing of liquid and solid wastes is prevented. The wearing article (1) has a sheet strip (20) provided inside an inner surface of a crotch region (6) of the article. The sheet strip (20) extends across the crotch region (6) and is joined to opposite side edges (13) of the crotch region (6). That portion of the sheet strip (20) which is between the opposite side edges (13) is separated from the inner surface of the crotch region (6). The sheet strip (20) forms leg covering sections (20a, 20b) each covering a part of a leg from the inner side of the leg and also forms a partition wall (20c) for partitioning the crotch region (6) into two sections adjacent to each other in the front-rear direction (A) and capable of preventing mixing of liquid and solid wastes.
