<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accurately perform dust removal processing to be performed afterwards, even when aberration correction of a lens is performed with respect to a photographed image earlier. <P>SOLUTION: Positional information on foreign matters extracted in an imaging screen based on an image signal for foreign matter detection from an imaging section, is converted based on information on a first taking lens on the occasion of acquisition of this image signal, information on a second taking lens on the occasion of photographing a subject, and aberration information on the second taking lens. After converting the positional information so as to be positional information on foreign matters in an imaging screen on the occasion of photographing with the second taking lens, it is further converted so as to be positional information on foreign matters in a photographing screen after aberration correction of a subject image by image processing. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
