<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a chemical thermal storage medium composite having gaps formed among powdery chemical thermal storage medium particles, and to provide a method for producing the chemical thermal storage medium composite. <P>SOLUTION: A formed product 10 of the chemical thermal storage medium composite is composed by kneading the powdery chemical thermal storage medium particles 12 with sepiolite 16 which is a clay mineral in a prescribed proportion, thickening the kneaded mixture, forming resultant thickened mixture into a prescribed shape, and baking the formed material.
