<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve cost transparency for the transmitting side or the receiving side of a multimedia message. <P>SOLUTION: Occupied effective data capacity generated in a multimedia message before, after and/or under editing is determined, the occupied effective data capacity generated in the multimedia message originally is assigned to one price category of a pricing system ranked for effective data capacity and when the capacity exceeds a price upper limit and/or an effective data capacity upper limit that can be preset to the multimedia message, at least one reduction application is provided for reducing the effective data capacity generated in the multimedia message originally, so that the multimedia message belongs to a further lower price category in the pricing system being ranked for effective data capacity. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
