<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a remote control apparatus having the same operating feeling as a conventional apparatus, in the remote control apparatus equipped with a plurality of plotting systems. <P>SOLUTION: In a remote controller 30, an operating position command for instructing an operating position in an image which displays selector switches is output according to a user's moving operation of a select position, and a selector switch selection command is output for carrying out selector switch selecting operation. In a control part 18, a plurality of selector switches are displayed as an image on an image of a display device 22, and the image is divided into a plurality of regions according to the plurality of selector switches. When the operating position in the image of the operating position command input from the remote controller 30 exists in one of the plurality of divided regions, the selector switch corresponding to the region is displayed as a selectable state.
