PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a carburetor provided with a fuel increasing mechanism, exhibiting the same function as the existing carburetor, while formed into a simple structure having fewer components than ones of the existing carburetor. SOLUTION: In this carburetor 1A, a main well 5 is formed in a columnar body 4 suspending in a constant fuel chamber 3, and during a normal operation, fuel is fed to an intake passage 2 by a main jet 6 inserted into the main well 5. An auxiliary chamber 8 vertically enlarged on the basis of height of an oil level X is formed in the columnar body 4. The auxiliary chamber 8 communicates with the main well 5 through a communicating passage 8b in a position lower than the height of the oil level X to thereby introduce fuel. The auxiliary chamber does not communicate with the portion other than the passage 8b, and is provided with an air reservoir 8a in a portion above the height of the oil level X. When an engine is operated at a high load/speed, fuel in the main well 5 increases flow speed to generate pulse pressure. Fuel in the main well 5 is thereby pushed out into the intake passage 2 by the damper action of the air reservoir 8a formed in the auxiliary chamber 8 to increase feed fuel.
