PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fixing device and an image forming device miniaturizable and preventing damage to the end of a belt when detecting meandering of the belt in the fixing device. SOLUTION: The fixing device 7 has a coil 71 generating a magnetic flux by current flow, a belt 72 generating heat by the magnetic flux generated by the coil 71, and a belt position correction device 78 correcting the position in the width direction of the belt 72. The fixing device 7 also has magnetic sensors 80a, 80b detecting the magnitude of leak flux, and the fixing device 7 has CPU 100 controlling the position of the belt 72 in the width direction based on the detected magnitude of leak flux.
