PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a head-up display device for vehicle capable of shortening a period of time required by a driver to move a focus by changing distance for displaying a virtual image and achieving high safety to prevent the occurrence of accident. SOLUTION: This head-up display device for vehicle includes a light source, a scanning means for scanning light from the light source two-dimensionally, a screen for forming an image by the scanned light, a projecting means for projecting the image on the screen, and a movable mechanism for changing a position of the screen.
