PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotary wheel type continuous extruding device and a continuous extruding method, capable of stably producing a metallic extruded material by reducing plastic deformation resistance of a base stock for extrusion reduce when starting extrusion, and suppressing the excessive temperature rising of tools during extrusion. SOLUTION: A back-up ring 20 has heating parts 32 and a cooling part 43, wherein the temperatures of a base stock guiding passage, a base stock guiding port and a forming hole are made adjustable.
