PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a soil treatment method using microwaves, capable of effectively heating soil of sufficient depth and also needing no excessively high propelling mechanical power, and to provide a farming implement suitable to the method. SOLUTION: The farming implement is provided, being equipped with a land-leveling tool on the rear tier of a tilling tool with a rotary tine and designed to be towed by a prime-moving vehicle or self-propellable by a built-in prime mover. This farming implement is also equipped with a microwave radiator irradiating microwaves on soil with soil lumps left intact before undergoing land leveling by the land-leveling tool after tilling by the tilling tool.
