A method for allocating network addresses includes that: when a mobile node moves to an access domain of a visited network, the steps performed in the visited network includes: a network access request transmitted by the mobile node is received; the home network of the mobile node is determined according to the user information of the mobile node, and an authentication request is sent to the home network so as to perform authentication; an authentication response returned by the home network is received which contains a local home of address L-HoA identifying the access domain the mobile node is currently in; a local care of address L-CoA is allocated to the mobile node which identifies the position information in the current access domain of the mobile node. Correspondingly, the present invention provides a network and a network node. The subject-matter of the present invention can implement address allocation to the mobile node.
