<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing an optical information recording medium having a two-or-more-layered structure that makes it hard to form rugged portions on a clamp part of a substrate when layers are formed on the substrate by a spin coat method, reduces the occurrence rate of radial linear defects caused when the protrusion is formed at the peripheral part of the clamp part of the substrate, and is excellent in optical characteristics during reproduction and/or recording. <P>SOLUTION: The method is provided for manufacturing an optical information recording medium having a plurality of layers sequentially laminated on a substrate having a through-hole at its center, in which at least two of the plurality of layers are formed by a spin coat method while center caps each having a predetermined radius are fitted into the through-hole. A radius of a first center cap used for forming an upper layer of the at least two layers is larger than a radius of a second center cap used for forming a lower layer thereof. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
