PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To stabilize a frictional force between a vibrating body and a rotor in an ultrasonic motor used for driving a magnetic recording head of an HDD.
SOLUTION: In the ultrasonic motor 10, vibration of the vibrating body 2 is transmitted to the rotor 3 in friction contact with the body to rotate the rotor 3 by including the vibrating body 2 performing in-plane vibration and serving as a stator in the rotor 3. At least one contact part 2g among a plurality of contact parts 2g, 2h and 2i is assembled to a chip member 2e through an adjusting member 2x. The adjusting member 2x comprises a compression spring 2m pushing out the contact part 2g, and an adhesive 2n. The rotor 3 is engaged with the vibrating body 2 while the contact part 2g is pushed into a storage hole 2k. The adhesive 2n is injected from an adhesive injection hole 2y so as to solidify it. Even if a dimensional manufacture error occurs in the vibrating body 2 and the rotor 3, a pressurization (friction) force of the contact part can be kept constant. Drive performance is stabilized and individual performance variation can be reduced.
COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
