<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dual axis articulated computer input device that increases the degree of freedom of input operation or the direction of movement of a game machine and a computer device. <P>SOLUTION: This computer input device comprises first and second handle members that fit in the hand of a user. These handles are movable (rotatable) with each other and are connected by a linkage as a whole. The members are pivotally movable in the horizontal direction along an X axis, along a vertical direction along a Y axis, and in the directions indicated by arrows 24, 26.
