<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an internal EGR control device of an internal combustion engine, which is enabled to keep a satisfactory combustion state by controlling an internal EGR quantity properly. <P>SOLUTION: The internal EGR control device of the internal combustion engine comprises: a variable valve train 60 for controlling the internal EGR quantity of the burned gas to be left in a cylinder 3a by changing the valve closing timing CAEXVC of an exhaust valve 9; a target internal EGR quantity setting means 2 for setting the target internal EGR quantity EGRINC of the internal EGR quantity according to the detected running states NE, PMCMD of the internal combustion engine 3; a valve closing timing calculating means 2 for calculating the valve closing timing of the exhaust valve 9 based on the set target internal EGR quantity EGRINC; a valve closing timing correcting means 2 for correcting the calculated valve closing timing of the exhaust valve according to a wall surface temperature parameter TW which expresses the acquired wall surface temperature of the cylinder 3a; and a control means 2 for controlling the variable valve train based on the corrected valve closing timing of the exhaust valve 9. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
