<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an airbag module used in an automobile in which an interior volume required for protecting a passenger is minimized. <P>SOLUTION: A bag 1 of the airbag module protects occupants of a vehicle in the event of a collision of the vehicle. The bag 1 comprises at least one upper panel 2 and at least one lower panel 3.
