<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a packaging member for packaging a product which suppresses the deformation of a product during transportation. <P>SOLUTION: This packaging member includes a packaging top cover 7 positioned on the top surface of a roughly rectangular parallelepiped product 1 and extending from its side surface, a side surface cover 10 covering the side surface of the product 1, a packaging fixing table 9 for fixing the bottom surface of the product 1, and annular packaging bands for binding the cover 7 and the table 9. The cover is mounted to the top surface of the product 1 through a rigid reinforcement panel between the cover 7 and the product 1 to reinforce ridges and corners on the top side.
