PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a receiver and a receiving system which can be easily updated. SOLUTION: In the receiver 102, a tuner circuit part 111, a digital demodulation part 112, a digital circuit part 113, and a video sound output circuit 114 are disposed on a board 110. A tuner input terminal 111A where a high frequency signal received by an antenna is input to the tuner circuit part 111 and an interface terminal 114A where an analog video and sound signals are output by the video sound output circuit 114 are disposed at preset positions on the board 110.
