PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for directly evaluating blue haze colored into blue white color when sun light is projected on a near infrared shielding material particulate dispersion body. SOLUTION: The method includes: a process for measuring blank transmission light intensity for obtaining spectral data of reflection light by making light from a light source 1 incident in a spherical space while attaching a reference reflection plate to an integrating sphere 4 and not attaching a measuring specimen; a process for measuring scattering transmission light intensity for obtaining spectral data of dispersion light by making light from the light source incident in the spherical space while attaching a light trap component 6 to the integrating sphere and attaching the measuring specimen 2; a process for calculating a scattering transmissivity for obtaining scattering transmissivity in each wavelength by calculating a ratio in each wavelength of scattering transmission light intensity and blank transmission light intensity in each spectral datum respectively; and an evaluating process for evaluating blue haze of the measuring specimen from scattering transmissivity between 360-500 nm of wavelength.
